A big bolt under the gas pedal?!?!

umm.... theres a bolt under the gas pedal and i'm curious of whats it doing there? do you guys see it? can i take it off and go more vroom vroom??

I have it too. I think it is so you don't push the peddle in too far and then have the throttle cable fly off.

Leave it alone, that is not where you adjust the throttle cable. You can find that in the engine bay and have someone step on the pedal all of the way. At the same time feel in the engine bay and make sure it is opening all of the way. Chances are you are just fine.



If you mess with the bolt under the gas pedal, you can stretch or even break your throttle cable.
