    M3 stock airbox

In the next few weeks, if i am able to get this 99 M3 im looking at, will i be able to swap its stock airbox with the JC CAI from my 97 328is? I really dont feel like spending another $300 for a CAI. It sucks I cant use my shark injector for the new car :banghead: Im gonna have to shell out another $350 for that.

you should be fine as long as the hfm on a 328 is a 3" like the m3 is. When i got my intake i was able to sell my stock airbox and make some extra money...you could try that. It does **** that the shark injector wont work on another car but thats the price of performance.

I wouldn't sell the stock airbox unless you make decent money on it...i.e. more than like 30 bucks.

You never know when you might want to revert back to stock.

Stock M3 parts don't seem to sell for much if the BF classifieds are any indicator.

Another reason I wouldn't sell it is because when you have to get your smoged checked, what ya gonna do?? If you have the JC CAI, it won't pass.
