Greenville is not too far...I go by there on my way home to Virginia...I am thinking of trying to get some worn out Vaders and have them re-leathered. I would appreciate the info...thanx!

I think that the nappa is high quality leather, but it just isn't durable unless you condition it 23 times a day.

My modena has really held up. I've been impressed, but it might have just been the previous owner's attentino to detail.

Dove grey seems to be the worst overall for wear though.

                Hey Purp

Did I tell you before that on your sig picture it looks like you have a Z3 type air vent on your door...it is the relection from your garage window I thin':???:

If I went with new leather I would probably change the color...would love to put in something like the baseball glove interior of the Audi TT...but I will probably stay stock...dove grey is a terrible color to keep clean and maintain w/o cracking.

Who dyes interiors...that might be an option.

Mine is actually in really good condition, except for those bumps on the side of the seat. It has alot of wear from getting in and out of the car. Someone had posted something about Leatherique not too long ago and I was gonna give them a try. They have dyes as well, supposedly can match any color. I was gonna get a small one of that and do a touch up on the spots that need it. Does anyone know the quality of their products?

I absolutely love my leather. I don't know of the differences in leather between the packages but I know that you can get the "pleather" or the leather upgrade on normal 3 series, is that the case with the M3? If it is then that might be your problem. The leather on my '97 is in amazing condition. Personally I think my M3 has a great leather dash(much better than plastic) and I love the ruffled leather on the door skins. Just my opinion.

First off, every U.S. M3 (except lightweight) came with real leather I believe not pleather and secondly, I do not believe any M3 came with a leather dash???:???: :argue:

Do you have a picture of the Mulberry interior??

Sorry but this is the best pic that I have. If the dash isn't leather than it is the best damn plastic I have ever seen. I guess that I could be wrong and it is plastic, but it looks great to me. Much better than the new Z4 I sat in a month ago.

                            i'm unfamiliar with leatherique.

but these guys have leather care and refinishing goodies:

they also have a product to fix cracks in leather (like spackle for leather)
