Need Intake Help,PleASE

So i have put the intake CDA 85-150 INTO MY CAR, Looks exactly as the one below in pic.

Now my problem is that the intake hose that should connect from end of filter and go down to behind spoiler, is absolutely impossible to fit, as it is not that bendable. and will not , i mean will not go down there

So i have left it off, and the filter intake end ends just like in pic now just behind the light fixture

And I wonder, is that a problem, or will it not matter, or should i absolutely by a more flexible hose that i could probably then get to fit , as the one that came in kit is just not that bendable in such a tight squeeze area.

i'm not too familiar with that intake system but did you relocate the horn? without the horn in its proper place, there should be enough room to run a 3.5" hose down to the front spoiler. the intake in the picture does look very large so it may just be too big. so if you haven't moved the horn, do that and see if it will fit.
