any one hooked up their dde's to the ECU? how'd ya do it?

Why would you hook up your Daylight Demon Eyes to the car's computer? That does not make sense at all?

according to the instructions -- you can splice it into a wire on the e46 -- and it will come on when the car is on -- and turn off automatically -- VS me having it triggered via my parking lights -- i'd prefer they be on all the time -- and NOT have to have my parking lights on.

Well, then you would want to hook it to a wire that will trigger a relay when power to the car is turned on, such as your radio. Don't get near the ECU that is the last thing you want to mess with.



There is probably a wire somewhere in the fusebox that goes hot when the car is turned on. Speak with a car audio shop and they can probably help you out on this one. It is a pretty simple procedure.

does anyone know of a hot wire when key is on - under the hood i can tap into?

If you have a voltmeter it would be pretty easy to check the fuses for one that goes hot when the key is turned.
