    Which rotors and pads, suggestions

I was looking at slotted rotors...Brembo, EBC or Powerslot. I am leaning toward the Brembo's. As for pads? I don't know what to get.

I have never put brakes on my M3 what works well. I have had brembo on bikes before and liked them. Thanks

Watcha gonna do with your M?

    Street only...autoX...driver's schools??

    Cost important...what's your budget?

    Looks important??

All these things are a factor and this thread is run over and over...we should make this a FAQ...

My pic is Standard Brembo rotors...Hawk Hps pads...inexpensive and trackable.

I did not go X-drilled cuz a lot of people had cracking issues and I did not go slotted cuz the $$ was a lot more with little benefit. I wanted Euro-floating rotors but the cost outweighed the benefit...I will eventually put a big brake kit on...missed one on ebay by this much....

    Good Shopping

I drive on the street, but I am hard on brakes. I auto cross about twice a year. I would like to stay under $300 a set for rotors.

I looked first under FAQ and was surprised it was not already in there.

I went through 2 sets of rotors and pads on my mustang in 18000 miles, till I got cross drilled rotors and kevlar pads, big bear brakes are just too much for me to afford.

I am thinking the brembo slots and hawk pads, feel free to point out if this is a known bad combo. Thanks

Slotted w/HPS is a GREAT combo...good choice...for the same money you might consider Eurofloaters...they are much lighter (4lbs/rotor) if you could get euros slotted that would be the best of both worlds!!

4lbs a rotor thats cool. Are the euro-floaters a direct replacement bolt on like the brembos? I have never seen any up close.

I would go with the set up im running..Iam very happy with it..I was also planning on doing slotted or drilled before the install. But the race shop i go to, and the guy knows his ****..I got the EURO M3 floaters roters with the semi-metalic Pagid street/track pads..Wasnt sure the price of the items but i know BMW dealer wanted $800 to do stock breaks and pads..So this was either a little less money or the same..But they are ******* sweet..
