    All white with RGR's?

I have a white E36 M3 with all white mouldings and everything, but I was thinking of putting BBS RGR's staggared they only come in gunmetal grey and that how I wanted to go. Do you guys thing the gunmetal would go nice with an all white car, or should I go all one size and go regular silver?

I have seen a lot of pics of other colors and it looks okay, i have never seen a white E36 with gunmetal RGR's.

    Thanks guys

i think the RGR's look good on whatever color its on.. they are just stunning wheels.. as for the staggered.. it is all show then.. obviously the same size all the way around is a more neutral setup.. but staggered looks bad ass in my opinion.. it all depends what u wanna do with it.. if its for daily driving.. wtf then.. throw the staggereds on.. otherwise.. go same size... the handling will be improved that way..

Don't know where you are but remember this rule only applies to the US cars.

Different suspension on the Euro means there's no handling disadvantage with a staggered setup... just more grip...

My understanding (through web info only) is that there're different shocks, different spring rates and a slightly different camber setup on the front.

I've read that some of this has to do with the front brake setup, some has to do with the slightly softer ride you guys get and some has to do with safety (understeer). There are probably other reasons... I really don't know.

I think the differences are marginal but there's a lot of talk from US owners about understeer so it must be "significant" to a point because understeer is not a common discussion point for Euro owners... I suppose unless one drives both it is difficult to compare...

Contrary to my comments above... wider rears will always increase understeer... what I should have said is not by any significant amount. I still have none for all practical purposes.

In fact I run 225 fronts instead of 235's which should indicate understeer's not an issue for me. I had more concern over the tram-lining with 235's than I did with understeer on 225's...

My experience only of course...

i could probably dial it out now with the coilovers.. mostlikely not an issue.. but who knows.. i do like the wider stance that we can have.. but i also like to be able to rotate my tires.. who knows..

I'm 100% sure you could... that's the beauty of coilovers (and hence the cost)... they can do amazing things for a car.

The real problem is getting the track time to set it up and test it. It took three days on the track to get my Evo set up perfectly (but for 1/2 of one of those it rained).

My car is gonna have Dinan Stage 2 setup when I get the wheels with the bilstiens. But I thought that the handling improved when the wheels were wider in the back. And also the reason I was wonder if I should go staggard or not is because they come in regular silver with 18X8 but they don't have them in 18X8 1/2. I am going for looks but perofrmance as well its a bitch to decide. Thanks to all that responded.
