Anyone do this themselves? The stealer wants $900+ for parts and labor. I can get the straps for $150. Is this a DIY or should I seek a BMW mechanic to help?????
one side of mine snapped,but i got it done under warranty it does not look hard to do if you know the route of the string,its like a spiders web under there and if you get it wrong the power hood does not work properly.i would go to the dealer but you must be able to find somewhere cheaper.
