Question on Vader seats

I want to get Vaders for my car, I have the luxery package with heated and motorized seats.. Did vaders come heated and motorized??? Im gonna go check out the local junkyard today

They did come heated and/or motorized.



Finding one with both may be hard depending on your area.



Motorized isn't too tough to find anywhere though.

I never had electric seats in a car before and I think now I'll never go back regardless of weight savings.



I like adjusting the car as I'm moving without worrying about sliding really far back in my chair all of a sudden.

It will be very hard to find both power and heated vadar seats. Most of the vadars are manual, and then you still have to find one that is heated on top of that. Goodluck though....if mine was a luxury version i'd want the power heated vadars too :thumbsup:

What year and color seats do you currently have? Are you going to sell your seats and if so, how much?

well my trip to the junkyard was somwhat of a success..found a salvaged 98 m3 with dove grey interior.

Power seats, but couldnt tell if they were heated. i couldnt get into the car and the whole dash was ripped apart. Junkman wants $1600 for front and rear seats, front and rear door panels..Condition isnt bad at all, just needs to be treated..

rear seats have the head rest, does this cause any conflict with my 96?? other than it shouldnt have it. Im gonna offer $1000 and see what we can work out.



Findley i have lxy pwr and heated i beleive the color is called 'modena' correct me if im wrong.. No price set on them, not sure of the value, but if i get my new interior they will be for sale, make me an offer if you are still interested

wow, modena is super rare....probably because it is sorta ugly (see sig).



You have modena if it is bright orange looking. I have some pics posted in the gallery so search for that.



If you DO have modena, try to sell them on bimmerforums...those guys are always hounding after modena interiors!







Half the people love the color in my car and half hate it. It is all or nothing. So, if no one has ever hopped in your car and said, "ew" then you might not have modena.

yup i know exactly what ur talking about.. I like the fact that it pretty rare, but with my exterior it does no justice..

Hmmm...that's tough because I usually only see Vader Modena interiors.



I would post a feeler over on bimmerforums.



Put MODENA in really big letters and you'll get the responses you want, trust me.



If you are willing to sell the whole shebang...ask like 1700 maybe? That should cover your seats etc.



People might ask you to part out your panelling alone or something...you'll just have to see.



Just say that you were thinking around 1700 but don't really know the market. Because there is high demand for the color, you can probably sit around wait for good offers.

If you have a vert and the seats are stock, you don't have vaders.



Vaders are just really cool looking. They are the basic seat that has this extra weird headrest that comes down the sides...



Search for vader in the gallery...you should be able to find the seat.
