help with sidemirrors and one crazy ass dream

I dont live in the best neighborhood in the city... jus today someone knocked off my driver side mirror off... and this was not the 1st time, it was knocked out two times before.. and the previous owner had them both stolen once before that... I was wondering... is there a certain kind of glue that i can use to jus keep them on more securely??



another thing i wanted to say is this weird dream... where i went outside my house and i saw my driver side headlight and corner was stolen... i was so f**kin mad, walked towards my house to call the police, but b4 i could, i took another look and my passenger side headlight and corner was gone... then i saw my neighborhood teenagers laughing and pointing at my car... i walked to him and ask him wtf happened to it but he jus said he doesn't know.... i start beating his ass to death... really... really brutul.... you guys have any dreams like this???? haha............

i have no idea.. ive never used glue on a part like that.. as for the dream.. i think ur mentallly unstable.. i would have laughed at u too though.. lol jk:thumbsup:

I feel your pain! Last week my alarm goes off, so I go to the window to see what's up. Couldn't see anything, but I hear this ricey car take off. Next morning - no f__kin' mirrors! And I'm kinda broke too, so I order mirrors and paint them myself. They don't look so hot up close, but maybe now they won't get ripped off. I have a very similar dream. If you haven't had something stolen off your, you just can't know the psychopath that lurks inside you. I'm having the same thoughts about the mirrors(glue), cause there realy isn't much you can do to prevent somebody taking them. Anyone caught messin' w/ another man's M3 should have their f__kin' c_cks fed to them.

exactly... i'm always paranoid that someone will take them off again and its really gets to me... da*mn aren't there alot of ppl jackin cars stuff in sf, my friend jus had his sound system stolen near sfsu....well yeah, see that purple another victim, i'm not mentally unstable... i'm NORMAL i tell you... hahaha lol.... i jus love my car too much...

Sorry about your bad luck. To answer your question, there are a lot of good adhesives you could use; epoxy comes to mind as one of the best. However, next time somebody went to rip your mirrors off, they would just hit them harder to knock them off and then you would be missing your mirror(s) AND have damage to your door that you would have to fix. Of course, you could try it just to see what happens next time.

I was thinking of taking the mirror assembly apart, and loading it with hydrochloric acid, glass shards and poison oak extract, so that whoever tried to jam me next would get seriously jammed. I'd probably get sued by them, though. Well, just day-dreaming... ahhh ... I'd really love to see that.

hey i wish i had that dream, mine are horrible, for example last night i had a dream that my brakes gave out and i was sliding out of control down hill going around 80.. i always have dreams about my car either being stripped to nothing, or vandalized, but i mean vandalized not just corner and headlight missing.. i think its because we care about our cars and think about them when we not around so it causes to have these kind of dreams

I would just leave it w/o the glue and either rent a garage, move out of Oakland and find a better neighborhood or something...



remember thieves and ricers are dumb...which is why they can't earn a decent living and have to steal off others.... dumb people get frustrated easily.... if you end up making it harder for them their just going to end up causing more damage/destruction.... like key your car, bash it harder, break the window or something...



a prime example is that I had wheel locks on my SSR's on my previous car... the thief was so stupid.... he didn't realize (think to LOOK first) I had wheel locks until he removed 2 lug nuts... then I guess he tried to remove the locks (there were scratches) but couldn't.. so he broke my driver side window w/ the alarm going off (me inside a restaurant w/ my friends.. didn't hear anything)... and I guess he thought I either had valuables or the rim key in the center console or glove box.. cuz both of those were opened and all my stuff was scavenged over... took some BURNED cd's and left... what kind of loser steals CD-R's???
