I'm starting to have major fueling problems with my M3, I was thinking it is the chip. I have a turner motorsport chip on it... and from what people are telling me, it could be having trouble with the additives added to gasoline in the winter time around here. Just about everytime I go WOT at about 5k rpm's the fueling cuts out and a plume of black smoke shoots out of the exhaust, but after letting off the gas... the car drives like normal. The chip was already installed when I bought the car, so I won't be able to just swap back in the stock software... I need another stock 95 M3 software... if that will even work. Thanks.

i have one. It is for the dme #506.
Pull your ecu box out..flip it over and tell me what color the stickers are and what the # says. IT will either have a 413 in the set of numbers or a 506. The doorjamb will state your build date and you should let me know that too.
SOrry to have to make you check all these things but it will save alot of time in the future.
Im wouldnt be trying to make a ton of money on this but throw me some sort of an offer for the chip if one comes to mind.

mine is just the stock 95 chip. Audiphile wanted one for his car to "downgrade" for his engines sake as it wasnt properly functioning.
ON a side not i will be updating to stickey custom tuning sometime in the summer at which point i will be selling my active autowerke chip which would work with automatic transmissions and is programmed for a 7200 redline and an increase of an approxiamte 4-5 rwhp. Let me know if you would be interested in waiting or if 5 months is too long to wait (which i would totally understand).
