    X-Brace?!?!

So I have heard that they help out in the turns but how much. can you feel it on daily drives? or is it only helpful when pushing it hard?

And I'm asking this because i'm getting a used one for 65 bucks.

its worth the buy.. when u put it on u can actually see what it ties together.. it, in my words, ties ur front suspension together.. i haven't driven with it on yet.. but it has to help.. no ? about it.. and for 65$ how can u pass it up:???:

Do you have any other suspension mods?

It was my first "suspension mod" and I felt an immediate difference in the solidarity of the front end. Turn in was crisper, and overall steering response was sharper.

I ask what other suspension mods you have because I know people with coilovers, or an agressive spring/shock combo, that did not feel the same considerable change that I did. But either way it is a worthwhile mod for the money!

im sure i won't feel the same improvement.. but hey.. it definitly needed to be done.. its obvious when u put it in.. so no sense in not doing it.. its going to help.. just not as noticable.. i would definitly say that this mod is a must for all E36's..

This may be a stupid question but does the x-brace bolt in or weld in? Just wondering because I thought that it bolted in but I know Mustang guys only like weld-in subframe connectors.

It bolts in to stock locations.

Well So far all my mods have been is somebody ripping out parts from my air box. So I do not have any suspension mods.

And I'm getting this one for so cheap because it has been used, and his dude is local. I'm going to look at it some time this week.

So I will tell you guys about it once i get it on.

OH does any one have the install instructions for it? that they can scan it in for me?

                      yes, do the x-brace.

and while you are at it, get the E36 Camber bolts and shims from www.kormanfastbmw.com

that helped my turn-in just as much as the x-brace did.

the x-brace, and the shims are my only suspension mods as of now. until the GC coilovers come.

Well the $65 is taking away from my clutch install.

65 seems like a drop in the bucket compared to a clutch.

Just grab the X-brace now because you won't find a better deal later.

I've never seen a used one go for less than 100!
