The President does not set the gas prices, the oil companies do. Gas prices going up would also conflict with your idea that the US economy was not improving as prices are indicative of demand. If people are not driving to work and they can't afford to drive to vacation spots then less gas is purchased, lowering demand and driving prices down. Nice attempt to bring partisan politics to an E36 M3 forum though :roll:

I do think the economy is picking up. Sure, the economists are saying the same - but I never believe them anyway.

Yeah 85 to fill her up is alot!!! I would think that the M3's over there waste more gas to, you know since they are euro's and have more power.
