so is there a certain header that would give me the required backpressure,so i could then run straight pipes to a performance muffler , and also any chance (scenario 2) how about exhaust manifold ,straightpipes and performance muffler ? any increase in low end torque? cuz thats where im trying to improve?? once again all input is appreciated and thank you . winter is almost over and im looking to get this back on the road in spring.

first off, if you are looking to improve low end torque, dont look at the exhaust to help you.
but back to the exhaust topic. headers on an obd2 m3 give about 1hp and no torque.
your best option is to get the AA Track Pipe, and then a performance cat-back exhaust. the track pipe had no cats, but the proper crossover pipes to give a deceint boost in HP, but again, you will loose some on the low end.
your best bet to give you more low end trq is a custom tuned chip, the best is the AA chip, custom dyno tuned.

Have you thought about a different differential in the rear? Maybe a 3.46 or even higher? This will give a little bump in performance at the sacrafice of high end speed.
If you want that much more torque, then the only options is to either go F.I., or sell the M3 and get a good old american V8.
