no, the e36 never came with HID lights.



but since your car is a euro-spec (isnt it???)



you should have the bosch elipsoids.



this is where the aftermarket steps in, and offers a hid kit for the e36 (i have one and the output is awesome!!!!)



so find some aftermarket HIDs and you are good to go.
