what are my options ? under $1000.00 say to increase low end , keep my mid , and say give up a little top speed? could my machine shop do any kind of work on my head . my vehicle is a stock 97 us m3.... all input is appreciated....

if u can do work at ur machine shop thats awesome.. definitly would help.. alittle polishing ya know.. also.. u can do a fan delete mod.. (www.understeer.com).. u can do exhaust.. chip.. intake.. straight pipes (www.activeautowerke.com)... M50 manifold upgrade (u have M52)... pulleys... ltw flywheel... bigger differential... all in all the skys the limit.. the ? is do u haev the money to play ball.. if u have 8700$ u can have an AA turbo kit.. that will give u a good 400 of both at the crank.. :thumbsup: -

Check out this thread and read CMT's comments. What he did cost him a little more than 1k, but it'll boost your low end like nobodys business.
