Help My mirror fell off is there a way to pop it back in ?

M3 mirror fell of and now holding by wires. can i just press it back in or no ?

Yep, but it's you've got to press pretty hard, hard enough to think you may break it... :banghead:



There should be two or three (can't remember) studs on the mirror that align with sockets on the car.



It's happened to mine... count yourself luck you've still got the mirror!

Yeap he's right 2 studs on the driver I knocked if off at the drive through. Line it up before you press it on, mine don't slide once its pushed in. Its lined up better now then it was when I got it.

Well maybe I had 3? Lets hope I never find out again. Cool that they will pop off without breaking or I'd be out some more money.

haha look at my thread about sidemirrors, man it f_ckin sucks, once you push it back in real hard tell me if the electrical still works.... cus mines doesn't...

TRUE///M3: The same thing happened to me when my mirror housing fell off. The wires were the only thing holding it on. After I clipped the housing back on, the mirror would not work. You can remove the mirror from the housing (pull it straight out - - there are little c-clips holding the mirror) and plug the wire back into the electric motor. Good luck :thumbsup:
