This cold weather is seriously killing my car.
I left my car unattended for about 6 weeks while I was on winter break and the battery was obviously dead. I was going to disconnect it, but I forgot a wrench.
Regardless, even after I got it jumped and drove the car to Jersey and back (400 miles) the battery won't recharge very well.
Right after the trip the car was fine and started up with no problems everyday.
Just tonight though after sitting dormant for about 3 days, it won't start again.
I think my battery is done (I don't even want to imagine the alternator is at fault...though my warranty WOULD cover that...)
In any case, my battery was replaced in August 2002. Is there any warranty like Sears Diehard Gold batteries or is this just another great BMW problem?
