Hood Strut E36

Has anyone replaced their hood struts on their e36, How do I remove them? Thanks in advance, Alex

That's pretty simple. Just pry the little locking tab out of the goove on the pin that the strut slides over on each end and slide the strut off of the pins. A small flat blade screwdriver between the tab and the end of the strut does the trick.
