:help: I'm looking for some feedback on what exaust (cat-back) to buy for my 98' M3. I want a stock-type look but a little more growl when I "get on it." My research shows most of 'em give out about 6rwhp. Any suggestions????

if u really wanna hear it.. u want the UUC system U or B&B triflow.. also there is UUC TSE and AA gen 3 exhaust.. um.. there are a bunch.. european car did a really big test on exhausts.. both the UUC's came out on top.. i got the system u.. it definitly is loud.. deep.. but loud.. has a race car aspirated sound.. its awesome.. gets looks all around.. and weighs 25lbs less than stock...

i got a remus exhaust on my M and sounds really nice. Im very satistfied with it, many people complement me with the sound it gives off. Its nothing loud like you hear on those hooked up hondas but it gives you that nice growling noise.

After talking to Rob the other day, I'd guess you're looking at 4+ weeks on a TSE. Usually when he says "a couple weeks" it means one month, but he refused to estimate on the exhausts.... never a good sign :help:

Believe me it's worth the wait. IMO it's the best sound built and looking exhaust anywhere. But you will have to be patient. Good Luck

Yup, the truth hurts.... well it at least stings a little. I've been dealing with UUC long enough to know when stuff isn't gonna show up for a while. It sucks when you've got customers waiting 3 months for UUC to ship pulleys and knowing there's not a dang thing you can do to speed up the process.

i HAD the sys u, was waaaayyyy too loud. it got quite annoying when i was at my friends appt, it would set off alarms on cars every time i left his pad, numerous complaints were filed, and as a result he and his dad were compelled to move, cuz his neighbors hated them. i felt soooooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!!



not to mention my own neighbors complained all the time.



i now have the aa gen 3, and love it

Same here. I had a system U and it was way to loud. It sounds great, but really loud. I now have an AA gen 3 and love it.
