i bought some rhino ramps at pepboys ($19) and i thought they were the perfect fit because they were not too inclined. when i got home, the bottom lip of the front spoiler is still hitting the ramp when i try to drive my car onto it. my car is stock and not lowered...what do you guys do if you want to work on your car? any tips?

I don't specifically have "Rhino Ramps" brand ramps but I do have the U-ramp (the metal yellow ramps) w/ the "extender" and like you the ramp is still too steep/high to cover the front bottom lip of the car...and on a lowered car (my previous vehicle was lowered) forget about it.. the front of the lip (not even the bottom) would hit the incline of the ramp.
I didn't really like ramps and found them kind of a b*tch to drive up because sometimes the ramp would move/slip if I applied too much gas or hit the brake when it reached the top/flat surface. I found it easier to just use a hydraulic floor jack and jack stands...
but if you want to use the ramps.. you might try placing a 2x4 or some block of wood for the car to roll over (and elevate itself/front end) right before the incline of the ramp where the bottom lip would normall hit.
my ramps just gather dust. stupid Kragen wouldn't take it back because they were used and some of the yellow paint came off/got scratched off.. so they just sit and gather dust in my garage..
