So...I kinda messed up my headlight housing...much advice needed

    Here's the long story.

I bought a set of headlights from a guy on bf.c.

They are Bosch housings with e39 5 series internals. They have HID's...don't know the brand of bulbs (whatever the 5 uses I think) and Hella/Phillips ballasts.

They come in and look awesome, I check to make sure they work and everything looks great, no errors on the OBC.

So, I go to put them in and they don't fit with my dinan style intake. The problem is a mounting bracket which I am either going to modify or my manufacturer (carbonio) so kindly gave me a different free one that works.

Well...in my overexuberance to install the new lights...I kinda broke the housing a little.

I already chopped off the useless plastics parts that stick out the back, so don't advise me on that...these things just don't fit...trust me.

    Back to the problem.

The projector now is loose...it still works fine, but I can move, rotate, spin etc. the projector around in it's housing. it is an easy apoxy fix I THINK...but does anyone have any tips or ideas?

Matt I would be eternally grateful if you could shed some light (no pun intended) on this. I still do need to buy that lumen-x stuff for my fogs from you too.

I don't have any pics of the problem right now, but if you imagine the projector you see from the front...I can push that around and have like half of it hidden.

I don't care if my lights aren't PERFECTLY fixed, but it would be nice for them to at least be roughly legal looking.

Epoxy will help, that "cement" like mix would do the trick to fix it in place....but man..wouldn't that expose the internal of the headlight housing to Houston moisture now?! That's some serious fogging and condensation.

Hope you get it fixed nicely....

Haha, don't worry I'm in Ithaca, NY now. It's very cold, and very dry.

I hope to find a weekend warm enough to take care of it too.

                    School man...but that's almost done.

My parents are moving to Roanake, VA...so I don't know when I'll be back in TX if I take a job in the North.
