    Hey PURPLE99M3

I'm new here, so please forgive if you've answered this a bazillion times:

    1. Where'd you get the chin spoilers on your front corners?

    2. One of my driving light lenses is cracked and I either want a new one or get something aftermarket. Ideas?

    3. I need to replace the black plastic corner piece under the front bumper-- the one that serves as splash shield/corner of air dam. Looks like the previous owner dragged it over something.

There are no Ms in my local bone yards . . . any advice on how to pick up this kind of stuff?

when you say driving light, do you mean foglight?

I would just stick with OEM. I bought a used one off bimmerforums for 25 bucks shipped. The dealer wants like 40 for a new one I think.

I like 'chin spoilers' better than 'velocity splitters'

I don't think anyone touched on #3 for you... I think you are talking about the black rubber piece back up under there, that you can hardly see? if so, I'd say many people don't even have them... it's common to rib them off. Some folks have reattached with everything from large bolts to wire ties... lots of ideas.

And if I'm completely missing the piece you are talking about, sorry : )

            Hi,

Look on the site: www.sanituning.de the spoilers are called M3 GT corners.

But the are cost a lot of money (86 euro a piece).

If you want to pick up a used driver's side foglight (don't know which side you need), I know a guy on bimmerforums that would probably do it for 25 shipped. I almost bought it from him, but I needed it right away and some other guy came in and said he'd ship it the next day, so I took him up on the offer.

Regarding item #3, if it's the rubber spoiler in front of the front tire, like Angella said, they are 10 to 15 bucks each, depending on where you get them. It ties the wheel well liner to the air dam, thus securing the brake duct in place, if nothing else. Four bolts.
