    $ to get koni's installed

    Whats up everyone? Im thinking of buying the adjustable sport koni's off ebay and was wondering the price to get them installed. Not at the dealer but some other auto type place. How much u think they would charge for just the labor?Does anyone know somewhere reasonable to install them. Thanks for any help.

    yea, my garage would work great.

    you should do it yourself, and just take it in for an alignment afterwards.

      Dont really feel like installing them in 28 degree weather and i know u have to do some modifying. So im pretty much going to get someone else to put them in.

        i just put konis on all four corners and h&r sport springs. i used my friend's shop. it is very well equipped and it isn't that easy. you take out the boge front struts, drill a 9/16 hole in the bottom of the strut and release the gas and lots of fluid. then take a die grinder and cut of the top of the strut housing. slide the cartridge in, put the bolt in the bottom, and reassemble the spring and so forth. kind of messy and time consuming. i think that any good shop would charge 6-9 hours of labor. but while i had it all apart i did the borla exhaust, tms front and rear sway bars and jtd rear shock mounts. then i went and got a $60 four-wheel alignment. the result is amazing.:thumbsup:

          Yeah if i had a lift and all the equip. maybe i would attempt it. But limited to my driveway so it looks like i'll be paying for someone to do it

              I've been looking at the Koni's for a while and havent heard anyone say anthing about the asc. I dont think it will affect it though. The strut housings got me too im a bit worried about having to have all this modifying done. Sounds kind of difficult and i dont have the tools to do so i'll have to pay to get it done. I'm just trying to figure out were to take the car to get it done.
