I think the two wires you found in the engine bay must have been for a siren that a previous owner had used. You can strip the wires on the siren and connect them together.

It should not matter which side goes to either one as an "out of phase" siren really does not make a difference.

i tried that already, the wires have no power. i even used a test light on them, they are dead. what fuses go to the siren? im guessing since the wires sat there bare like that for a while, so they shorted out and blew a fuse. but i have no clue what fuse, if it is in the set under the hood, or by the relays underneath the dash.:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It's not working because you're using my Avatar.

It's that whole bad karma thing...

Stellar claims that it does matter. I think that those might be the right wires.

Just strip all the wires and put them together in both directions by tying the wires. See if it works.

You know what's weird, my shock sensor just gave up and died. It worked at first, but eventually even if I hit the unit it didn't work.

          Seriously, this product is garbage.

Mine was wired strangely...and I just didn't care to fix anything other than the double locking.

As a note, be careful where you mount your siren...when I TRIED to install my ellipsoids, they wouldn't fit where I mounted it before. Don't put it right in front of your wiper fluid resovoir(sp).

when I mounted and wired my horn, it didn't work...until I reversed polarity.

not sure if that helps...or maybe it was just MY stellar...but it only worked one way.

Stellar CLAIMS it only works in one direction, and I think that you just confirmed it for us.
