8.5 or 9.5 for rear wheels

It's killing me! I've read so many threads. I've been wanting to get the Hyper Black ADR M Sport wheels. Had a tire blowout today, so am going to order. Here's the big question: 18 X 8.5 all around or 8.5 in front and 9.5 in rear? I have stock suspension and will probably go with 235/40 in front and 255/35 rear (if 9.5 rim). Lets hear all the pros and cons please...I am ordering in a few hours.

p.s. I'll have some BMW wheels for sale shortly.

    Hey,

I dont know about the rear... I would say

do 18x8.5 all around.. are the rims staggered??

I have 19x8.5 Mvr all around No problem I think after

9" you may have to touch the rear fender wells.

Shouldn't handling be negatively affected as well as understeer and oversteer? Because the 96-99 M's came staggered on 17's on stock suspension for an optimized reason....

      Well, not 8.5f/9.5r staggered though.

I have BBS RKs in 18x8.5 at all four corners and I'm very happy with them. The handling is slightly changed as staggered widths usually induce a little understeer - good for novices, not good for experienced hot-shoes!
