Depo Ellipsoid with umnitza hid

I spoke with matt today over at umnitza.com and I decided to go with the depot ellipsoid with no bulbs and there 5000k hid kit which are both plug and play. Just wondering if anyoen has used there hid kits and what u think. I decided depot for the simple fact of moeny. I was going to either throw in an hid kit in my us spec lightsbut was convinced otherwise to get ellipsoids and i was not going to pay 375 for zkw so depot was the right choice for me. Let me know. My hids came from hids4less.com.. now out of business... eh...



turnermotorsports also sells hid kits they are made by phillips.. and I would trust thoes.



No past exp with your hid kit though..

tell us what you think of the lights once you get them installed. I've been hesitant to buy an hid set up from umnitza only because they use bellof bulbs and generic ballasts. I think it's safe to say that phillips and osram bulbs are the best. i have yet to really hear much about bellof bulbs. also, phillips bulbs come with a 3yr warranty with a life expectancy of 5 yrs. I have a hard time justifying that amount of money if the lights don't last more than 5 yrs. also did you get some type of warranty from umnitza?

What the hell are bellof bulbs? I've never heard of them. Are they re-based bulbs (in other words a D2S bulb w/ an H1 base)?
