Tiniting the M

Im gonna tint my Estoril blue M next week but am not sure what percentage to do. I want it to have a nice sleek bad look. #5% is the legal limit here but i was thinking about 15% what are your thoughts on what i should put to get that nice extra look on the M with the Estoril color body. Thanks

I got 15% looks pretty nice. Gonna seem dark as hell when ur driving at night for the 1st few wks but u get use to it. I never get tickets so i just went on the look i liked.

I got the windows on my dad's '02 Explorer tinted 24%(to match factory tints) and they are pretty dark. Not sure why you would want to go much past that.

I went 35% all around before I left Virginia. It started off looking pretty light but over the past 2 years it has darkened up a bit.



I've been asked if my tint is legal. At 35% it'll pass most inspection station tint readers. Having a dark interior makes the tint look darker as well.



I used to have 5% limo black but got tired of the hassle.

If you get illegal, make sure it's not that tape crap they put on your windows because they WILL make you tear it off sometimes, and that gets messy. If you get the glass itself tinted inside the glass, in some places they don't even bother with you after the first ticket.

I'm about to get 20% all the way around on my Estoril Blue M. It should look nice when done. The legal limit here in MD is 35% on all windows on cars. Trucks is a different story.

dude you gonna always want to go a precentage darker in the back windows. if you don't do this it won't look even all around.

trust me!!!! 35 front side and 20%in the back.

just say you bought it used with the tint on it...they'll let you go once at least.
