    300 hps

what is the best and economical way for my 1997 m3 to get to 300 hps?

    #2
    Wheel or Crank HP.

If you want it at the crank, get the entire cam kit, some UD pulley's and and exhaust for about $4000.

If you want it at the wheels, spend another $1000 or so and get the AA Supercharger. I am assuming installation charges will be extra on both.

Or wait a few months and spend $7000 on the new twin screw supercharger and get about 350 HP at the wheels.

Ahhhh! Makes me miss my '99 Mustang GT. Not cheap getting extra hp's out of the M.

I don't have the kit myself, I would love to. I was talking to someone with it and from what they tell me it rocks. I have read a review of it (don't remember where) and they said it would make the US model very close to the euro model.

                            Here's what included

                            E36 M3 3.2L Cam Kit, Up to 300Hp from your 1996-1999 M3 $2,949.00

                            View Enlarged Image

No longer will you need to convert your OBD-II car back to OBD-I electronics to feel the exhilarating rush of up to 300 HP. The Eurosport Cam System gives you the high-end horsepower of the more freely flowing '95 manifold without sacrificing the added torque of the OBD-II cars through custom programming by Jim Conforti all in an easy to install kit.

They have a picture of what is included, go to www.bimmerworld.com, then online catalog, then engine and scroll down to it.

I have the Turner Motor Sport kit cam kit. I'm an N/A guy and I love it, very aggressive. It's well worth it FI or NOS are eventually going to destroy your motor, especially if you motor has 100K+. I also had my chip tuned for 93.5 oct gas since it is available here in CO. Not much stands in my way on the street, I'm not a drag racer but I do stop light race on the occasion, and with this setup I have no problem with those pesky SRT4 neon. Also I've raced several WRX's and a few tuned ones, still no problem. I haven'y put the car on a dyno yet, but I really don't have to I can feel the power and it puts in down way more aggressively.

The dyno's I've seen have been between 240hp @TW with just the kit to 260hp+ with kit fan delete underdrive pullies exhaust from header back.
