Not much stands in my way on the street, I'm not a drag racer but I do stop light race on the occasion, and with this setup I have no problem with those pesky SRT4 neon. Also I've raced several WRX's and a few tuned ones, still no problem. I haven'y put the car on a dyno yet, but I really don't have to I can feel the power and it puts in down way more aggressively.

The dyno's I've seen have been between 240hp @TW with just the kit to 260hp+ with kit fan delete underdrive pullies exhaust from header back.

Here's a couple of links to some info.

How much did the entire setup run you? Who did you have do this install?

If you do put it on the dyno, be sure you are ready for lower numbers b/c of our altitude.

I'lll have to look out for your M, what part of town do you live in?

BimmerHaus did the install kit was $2500.00. It sux thats is $200.00 cheaper now. Install is expensive and I'm in Aurora. I have no trouble keeping up with E46 M3 also, Which seems to surprises them. There next question always is what kind of SC do you have then I lift the hood and tell them I have intake and exhaust and they walk away :banghead:. Yes Our altitude does effect our hp but I have never driven it @sea level so I'm not missing anything and the chip was tuned to compensate. All cars here have the same problem but FI not as much. If you look at dyno numbers for E46 M3 you can get with in 10-25hp @TW difference between the two. Which is well over 300hp @TC. It's an awesome kit it sounds and feels way more aggressive.

i checked out the site for that twin screw s/c kit .. but it seems that it is designed only for the 3.2L motor - anyone have any input to disprove this? tryin to keep my f/i options open

I forgot to mention the difference in power delivery. I know many of you have the JC intake HFM with 24lb's injectors and chip. If you do you know that the car pulls much harder at the top while maintaining all of the same grunt of TQ at the bottom. The Cams add a huge surge of power to the bottom and a very heavy top end push. Everything starts moving fast very quick.

I have to say if you are like me and don't want to chance blowing up your 100K motor with FI or nos this is the only way to go.

I'm thinking of doing the cams this summer. I was going to have Bimmerhaus do the install. I'm in Boulder. I'd love to check out your car sometime before I drop almost $4k on the job.

            Thanks,

Yeah I work in Boulder so that shouldn't be a problem.
