Actually, my car is a special 2000 M3 build and only 100 were made.

      Everything on it is reversed.

Good eyes everyone, the pic is reversed.

No, just an 85 Nova. Kidding, it is water from just washing the car. It was getting dark out but I wanted the picture after washing it.

On the www.Car-stats.com I saw a Lightweight M3 not knowing what it was but it had a 0-60 time of 5.3 compared to the same year M3 of 6

anyone wanna shed some light on this for me?

Check otu the lightweight thread ~_^

It's just lighter by a whole bunch, and features different final gear ratios and other misc. stuff like oil pan differences and what not. Check out the thread.

ROFL! The bugs in the background... Nice one!

Remember a lot of changes have nothing to do with the model year... they're just regulatory responses and options.

M3 from the factory never came with a deck lid spoiler (except GT and LTW) they were always optioned on, occasionally by the dealer.

Rear headrests are available on any E30, E36, E46 3 series as they're required by law in Europe. They're probably a response to US regulations more than they are a model year difference.

                    Wooden trim

                    328is sideskirts

                    M-Contour rims

I've been looking at used M3's to buy and always wandered why some of them doesn't have the sport seats on them. I always thought the original seats were replaced with just regular 3 series seats.
