    "M" Stripes on your seats

I have the Luxury package on my car and the seats do not have the "M" stripes on them. I like the look so I'm thinking of putting some on, but I want to make sure I make it looks very professional so I have a couple questions for you guys:

    1) What materal are the stripes made out of?

    2) How are they attached?

    3) Can someone take a close up picture of them for me?

    4) What are the exact dimensions of the stripes?

    Thanks!

They are leather, dyed to the correct color of course, and they sewn into the seat. Sorry, no pics or dimensions.

That's great! I take it that picture is on the back seat right?

If you don't mind, I'd also like to see one of the headrest stripes as well.

            Thanks!

M3's with stripes on the headrests indictate that it is more than likely a late 1998. In late 1998, BMW ran out of the high-quality leather found on their models. Therefore they had to use a lesser quality leather and put the /// stripes on the headrests.

It is notated on the window sticker, I believe the price difference is approximately $400 - so it says "whatever leather "-$400"'

              thats minus $400..

I have never seen the stripes on the headrest before.
