Front wheel spacing, opinions?

Does anyone think that the stock (ten spoke) front wheels look too inset into the fenders? I had MVR Magnums (8.5" x 17" 38mm offset with 235/40R17) on before and the front end looked pretty cool with the wheels pushed out so far.

The wheels are 8x17, not 8.5x17

it would look cool with the wider setup but spacers would also do the trick.
