Guess who installed HID's instead of going to class?

I'll post pics tonight, but I just put my Bosch housings with HID's in.

I keep blowing a fuse because I only have these crappy generic fuses I got at Autozone. I'm going to try and locate higher quality ones.

You may need a slightly higher amp fuse as the initial turn on spike is probably the culpret for blowing the fuse. Try an extra 5 amps but use no more than 10 extra. Lets see some pics.

Okay, I just went to Advance auto parts which is right next to autozone pretty much...I bought the same 7.5 Amp fuse that I bought at autozone, but a different brand.

This one seems to do the trick!

It's all good guys. Pics will be up tonight. No point taking pictures during the day of headlights, right?

They are very white luckily so no one will stop me for them.

oh...it seems to work fine now with the 7.5...

          Should I put 10's in fuses 11,12 and then 15 in #25 I think?

BTW Matt, I bought your Lamin-X stuff like 10 minutes ago.

Take pics during the day and night, so I can sum the pics up and see what it really looks like. Are these the same ones you tried to epoxy?

Okay, so now I have a few complaints.

1st) What the heck happened to the browse, upload picture thing with the reply window.

2nd) I don't have any stupid software to crop my images. I took like super bad qual ones just to get it under 250k. This stinks.

I'll upload really junky pics just to give you an idea of color.

                    2) These are horrible quality, but it's all I got. Anyone know where I can get free software that lets me crop for Win2k.

My friends have p-shop they can give me...but not right this second.

The pictures don't do it justice and they make it look a lot more blue than it really is. A few of my friends couldn't tell the difference (girls).

Looks good from what I can see. I know these took you a long time to install. Are aftermarket headlights usually that difficult, or were you trying to do a custom job on them?

Irfanview is good free image program that would probably do the trick.

You'd be surprised how well the A/S tires I have work even in a lot of snow. I just don't go out when other people are out pretty much.

I do like to take it out in the snow now and then late at night for ummm...learning purposes.

I mostly just wait until the snow clears though or it at least gets down to manageable slush.

As a note about my projectors though, I think that I might have messed something up because the beam pattern is weird. I have sorta have this super bright cyclops thing going on. Like, all the like focuses in the middle.

I'm doing searches now on beam patterns, but mine looks funny. If I feel adventurous, I'll snap some pics of that, but posting pics is so horrendous now on this forum.
