    looking to buy 99 M3

    Hey guys,

I currently have an 03 G35 coupe 6spd and before this had 01 S4, but now I want 99 M3. When shopping for one is there anything that i should be on the look out for good or bad? How reliable is this model. Anyone know of one for sale in the mid 20s.

    Thanks for the help:beer:

Wow, you're already bored with the cpe? That's nuts. Everyone seems to think you should get the coupe of the M3 over on bimmerforums.

In any case, check out our FAQ section. We have an extensive thread on buying used.

    Welcome!

You should be able to pick one up in the mid 20's easy especially if you're looking to buy now in the Northeast. Our weather kills the resale of these things in the winter.

I have seen them dip into the low 20's. It is just a buyers market right now because of the economy.

Anyway, what don't you like about the G35 Coupe? I think that is a great car.

Check out the FAQ section for some info about what to look for and how difficult they are to maintain. I will trade you for my 97 with only 70,000 miles on it? It is in perfect condition.

Hell, I would even throw in some extra $.

            nice pic!

            haha

I got my 99 in the summer in Texas for 23k...it's easy to find cheap 99's. It's all about the motivated seller.

The car had little stupid things like a cracked foglight and broken center vent, but he had lots and lots of maintenance records and seemed like a big car guy. I was happy and still am.

Just keep yours eyes peeled and don't jump at the first oppurtunity. You clearly have a nice car, so you can wait. It really is a buyers market, so don't give in.

Once you find a nice one, tell us about it and we might be able to help you price it.
