Yes this subject must be beat to death but just letting you guys know what I feel like doing. I purchased a 96 Estoril Blue ///M a few weeks back. It came with the euro-spec OEM clear lights (has made in germany on the lights) all the way around. I guess the old owner wanted the good stuff not the cheap eBay clear lenses. As I look at the car more I think the USDM OEM Amber lights look a lot better. I know the clears are Euro-spec and that's how they came outta the factory over there but just for some reason the clears make the car look cheap. You guys feel me? I know most ppl seem to run the clear's though.

You are probably the first person to desire to change out your clear signals with amber ones. However, this should be very easy to do considering so many people have changed out their amber ones and probably have them lying around in the garage. I already sold mine but check on eBay or someone here will probably respond an cut you a good deal. -

I want clears, because in my opinion they look better on a green car. I jsut saw a pic of an estoril with ambers, and im gonna have to agree with you, that it looks better with ambers.Comment

Lets talk after i receive the ambers from the seller and installed on the car. Would any then be willing to buy them from me? If so let me know. If you can't wait for some clears...i would say try ebay but it is hard to fine the OEM Germany Spec versions on there.

Dude, just buy the ones cheaply off ebay and then sell someone your clears. You can land 150 easy for the set.
If the rears are OEM I'll give you good money for them, man we're vultures.
I'll give you 120 shipped for just the rears if you want. Just post these things online here or bimmerforums and people will gobble them up.

My opinion is that some M3 colors look slightly better with clears and some slightly better with ambers, but it's not a must mod item in my book. I perfer ambers to clears on my car.Comment

Yeah, i get that feeling too... after i got all the clears on my car, i thought it looked great and a lot of other ppl thought it looked great too... But after a while, i just dont know why i want to go back to amber's.... they jus look more original.... more right.... i think amber's would look great with HID's and give's it more color... more life to the car... I still have my ambers in my room....Comment

Yeah, it's alright either way, but I'm still in love with the clears. Especially with black, it gives it a more.... polished and refined look. Just my thoughts, keep with the clears!Comment
