318ti - M3 Swap

Hey ppl. Im new to this forum, and i am currently looking for a 318ti. I love the concept of hybrids, and i wanted to get some info on the difficulty of swapping the e36 M3 motor into a 318ti compact. Mounts, driveshaft, wiring, accessory hookup, etc. All i know so far is that OBD1(95/96) can't have a OBD2 motor in it (96-99)



So basically i just wanna know if its a possible job to swap an e36 m3 motor into the 318ti compact.

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

it is a popular thing to do to the 318ti. from my limited understanding of the swap, it is as simple a swap as possible, but you should post this on www.bimmerforums.com in the m3 forum, they definatley have some swapped 332ti's over there.
