    Clutch falls to floor

Hrm, is the search function not working yet on the new server? Searched for "clutch bleed" no results...

Anyway, I just bled the clutch, and it (the clutch) falls to the floor now and doesn't pop back up...basically it stays at the top, you push it a little, then like a spring it jumps down to the floor...you have to lift it back up and close to the top it springs up. Was thinking it could be air in the system? but no more air is coming out of the bleeder valve...any ideas? thanks...

bad problem to have on a monday night.. hope this isn't your daily.

Let's see. Hmmm.. Do the clutch and brake system use the same thing for bleeding? I know they use the same res.

Where did you get your instructions from?

was following the bentley's manual...they both pull from the same reservoir...it's my daily driver, but somehow I luckily got pressure back after letting it sit a while then pumping the clutch about 200 times ha ha ha *phew* drives fine, I think I'll leave it alone for now and look at it over the weekend!

I'm not certain, it doesn't seem to be making any screeching noises, it doesn't slip at all really initially and my clutch point isn't too close to the floor...so I don't think it's the slave cylinder...but do you think it's worth replacing anyway just in case since it fairly cheap?
