    Thermostat / Cooling Question.

Since my car is all ripped apart anyway, i am going to be installing a tapped thermostat housing, and running a new gauge inside. I still have the 92* thermostat in my car, would it be a better idea to go down to an 88 or an 80?

I do a lot of spirited driving......

I am also planning on adding a bottle of watter wetter when i put everything back together.

-What color is bmw coolant? Mine is sorta green, buts its not clear, like the prestone stuff. Im asking, because i spilled a lot, so i have to buy some more.

    :help:

Well, if you do the 80 thermostat, and watter wetter, then you are only one part away from removing the fan completely. If you get the lower temp fan switch you can keep the mechanical fan out of the car and gain a few extra HP.

BMW coolant is green/blueish in color

Im a bit concerned about removing the fan. Honestly, i dont know if its a good idea.

Is there a noticeable difference after removing it?
