i need a new clutch and i was wondering what is the best brand out there. i know act makes really nice clutches but i cant find any for our cars. i was also looking into clutchmaters. i want to get a better clutch than oem since i plan on doing some sort of driving at the track or drag strip later. thanks guys.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Spec clutches as carried by www.mperformance.com
Also the Rogue clutch looks really nice and is said to be able to handle some more power/abuse as I understand it.

the stock clutch will hold more than enough NA power, even low boost sc's.Comment

From reading Paul E's responses on bf.c I had thought to steer away from the sachs units upon replacement..even the HD Sachs unit which is said to hold more power.
My thought is that because the mod bug is so bad (atleast for me) that you might as well get a VERY capable clutch just in case and then not have to worry about it again in the future.

low boost s/c, not 11 psi like Paul is running.
I track my car pretty hard and its still on its first clutch at 80k and still going.Comment
