Rechroming 10 spoke wheels

Tire went flat when returning from vacation. Took it to Discount Tire and they said the chroming was chipping away inside the tire and was causing the bead to fail. It apperas I need them rechromed. Anything I should be aware of before getting them done. They say it will be about $150 a wheel.



I will also need the put the M on blocks for 15 days while they are being done, any specific blocsk ai should get/avoid. Much Mahalo.

stay away from chrome- it chips and flakes, it's a pain to take care of, plus it looks a little too bling bling for the M3. i've seen a lot of bad chrome jobs, and you don't want to deal with it. leave chrome for the benzs and 7 series. just have your wheels painted, or, use this as an excuse to get some new wheels.

Haven't had a problem with my chrome contours.....usually just wipe them down once or twice a week. Get nothing but compliments on them
