Trackpipes Midpipes X-pipes S-pipes Cat Back

Couldn't find any midpipes for the e36 m3 that was street legal... There are a lot of track pipes that are for off-road uses only... What track pipes do you have? Or which manufacturer is recommended to get? Ever got pulled over for that?

Not worth it on OBDII cars, check my dyno's in the stickied dyno thread.

The reason why he lost hp and tq is that the engine reads the track pipe as a blocked cat. so the car runs lean to try to heat it up and clear it out. Basically you need O2 simulators which are like 200 bucks from AA to compensate for the lack of a cat. Usual results with Track Pipe and O2 Sensors are abotu 13 hp gain.

I think so... also I hear its important that you run it for like a week to get best results... the computer is "adaptive" apparently... not sure if that is true thought

Umm, I had an AA track Pipe. It comes with the o2 sims.

For the real reason. The OBDII cats are pretty unrestrictive, now 95's are another question. Removing the cats causes too much of a VE change for the stock computer, you would need custom software to take advantage of any gians from the TP.

Hey, I've got an OBDI M3 and I'm pretty interested in putting on a TP. What else can you tell me about TP's on '95s?

                    Sleept,

I sold an AA Track Pipe to a 95 M3 owner and he told me that below 2500rpms the car sounds like stock. But under a decent load to heavy load above 3000rpm, he said that he can really feel the car pulling a lot faster. He loves the sound too. The AA track pipe is also attached to his SS muffler.

                    Email me for a quote.

                      TrueM3..

There are no track midpipes or x pipes that are street legal for your M3. Your only option is the AA Track pipe and remove and reinstall the CAT every 2 yrs.

Yup, back to stock cats. And I enjoy my low end tq and lack of the horrible smell every day.
