    crack in drivers door card...

Ive got a crack just next to the front pillar in the plastic.. Is it fixable or would i need a new door card??

Oh and some sort of price would be nice :help:

Any ideas on how much to replace a front passenger foglight as well?

And how to correct the drivers door as mine has dropped a little!

    Thanks

haven't a clue about the plastic thingy - not really even sure what part you are talking about (pillar as in head level? - what'd you do, hit your head?)

the fogs are easy - I think about $40 plus shipping for oem's... spend the $20 to put stonguard over both, and you won't have to spend the $40 in another couple of months : )

to remove your fog, stick a medium to long screw driver into the little hole that is to the right (for passenger) of the fog, inside the air intake for your brakes... it'll just pop out (since it's already broke, I guess you don't need to catch it : )

new one just pops in - it'll make sense once it comes out. I don't know about everyone elses, but mine looked like someone had extended the length of the wires - maybe they came that way, or maybe the previous owner had upgraded the lights then put the stock back in before selling (so had to put the wires back together)

racingking.net has the fogs for $42 - someone else had them for around the same price too (can't remember who, but I know racingking sent them pretty quick, well under a week)

umnitza.com has the stonguard... it's worth it.

      thanks for the info,

Its a coupe model, where the bottom edge of the glass meets the door at the front, there is a crack perpendicular to the window in the door card, am not sure as to why but hope this is a little clearer!!

      Thanks

door card = the thing that has the specs on your car (prod date, weight, etc.)? :???:

um nope, the trim that all the electric windows gubbins sits behind, on the door, where the handle is and the electric window switches are!!

on the back of the trim piece, there will be a part number (don't take this off if you have side curtain air bags without getting the appropriate instructions). The part numbers are generally 11 numbers and a majority can be found at the bavarian autosport website - www.bavauto.com. I have no idea how to take off the side panels correctly if there is an airbag there - I'm just assuming that there would be special instructions.

ps - what year/model are we talking about here?
