I just ordered some velocity splitters and I am very excited about getting them. I was looking at my car today though, and I don't have a spoiler. Do you think the velocity splitters would look funny on the car with out a spoiler? How about with one of those lip spoilers? Or should I just get the normal M3 spoiler? Thanks guys

Some M3's did not come with the OEM lip spoiler (can't remember what version they were). If this is the case with yours, you can order one and simply bolt it on (may require minor drilling under your existing spoiler) with the V2s. I think they look great and have yet to scrape anything substantial.

I appreciate your reply, but what I am asking is if it would look funny without a trunk mounted spoiler. Sorry for not being more clear...but I would like your opinion on that. With either a stock M3 spoiler on the trunk, or a lip spoiler on the trunk or no spoiler on the trunk at all, how would that look with the velocity splitters?

I get it now! "To spoiler or not to spoiler" seems to be a very personal matter of taste. Then, to delve further into what type of spoiler is "best" is a tougher question still. IMHO, I like either a rear lip spoiler or none at all. As far as the front, look at the V2s or Reiger lip spoiler. Otherwise, no problem in my opinion going with the V2s only.
