I have an oil leak on the passenger side at the rear of the engine. I took it to a shop today and they said it's the cylinder head gasket. All he did was look at the car on a lift and that was it.
I have had no problems with the car, other than the smell of the oil burning on the exhaust.
The car has not overheated, or had any steam from the exhaust or anthing.
They want $1100 do fix it ($700 labor, $370 for head gasket kit).
Do you guys think this is probably just a valve cover leak instead of a head gasket leak??
