My car was lowered before i bought it, and i was just curious for you guys that have done this, is your camber??(think that is what they said) off. The dealership said that i would have to put in stock springs if i wanted to correct this. I was wondering if everyone had this prob. or if it was just my car?

Question about lowered cars?

yours looks lower in the front than the back, just like mine. I bought mine like that too. I think its the springs which lower the car specially in the front. You would have to get stock springs or ones that don't lower it so much. I like mine like that. I just want to get a lower rear bumper so it looks even...

I'm still learning about suspension setups, but I've seen that they sell camber/caster plates with coilovers. These are supposed to help you adjust the camber. I'm not sure if you can use something like this if you only have lowering springs. Also, I believe I've read that camber can be adjusted on any M3, just not as much as with the camber/caster plates.
Sorry I don't have the answers. I'm sure someone who knows what they're talking about will weigh in shortly.

The dealer are a bunch on n00bs.
I'm guessing you don't have more than -2.5 in the front, which is perfectly fine. Our cars love more camber in the front. The rear is adjustable in stock form.
I see you are in Colorado, if you are near Boulder go to Bimmerhaus. They will align the car correctly for the height it is at.
Camber plates are designed to allow you to dial in the correct amount of camber so you get even tire temps. across the face of a race tire.

I love the camber, dont get me wrong about that. I just hate how it wears on my tires. When my front tires have no tread on the insides and still a good amount on the outside that gets a little irritating. I will try to run up to boulder this summer when i get back to CO to see if they can do anything, do you know by any chance how much this should cost to do?
