Bimmerworld sells the complete driveline of the V8 M5. It will bolt right into the e46 chasis. bimmerworld.com go to the online catalog and look at the items and search for m5 if you can't find it, its 17,000 for the entire thing. but 400 hp for 17,000 plus installation costs plus a much heavier engine? Why not get a stage two turbo from active autowerke or get that 600 hp stage 3 thats not even listed?

because it has to do with power potential. a 400hp v8 with more to give, or a 600hp i-6 that is at its maximum.

Haha, The BMW M3 engine can dish out more than 600 hp, you need to build the engine, like with any car. I think the max horsepower I've seen out of an m3 was 1300 hp. Our engines are just as strong as a toyota supra's engine, the key is knowing when its needed to upgrade the internals.

it'd b cheaper just buying the M5, than the engine. and anyway if you want more power just buy a MCLAREN F1 engine ( basically 2 m3 evo engines put together )

A supra can't run 1000 bhp on stock internals , dnt be silly 1000bhp on stock internals on that engine, it'll just explode like a bomb.
