    Lip spoiler Removal?

I have a lip spoiler on now and i want to get a regular spoiler with the brake light. U think it will be tough to get off the lip spoiler. Looks like its tapped on with double sided tape. How much u think it will be to get if professional removed and the new one put on. Thanks for any help.

Its on there w/ 3M tape. A hair dryer and some dental floss or fishing line should do the trick, but I personally would take it somewhere cause you do run the risk of pulling the paint. Not sure what it would cost - maybe 50 -100 to take it off and do the new one???

Most shops that I know of that install spoilers, will gladly remove your old one for a small charge, so just talk to your shop. If you are trying to save cash, I would go with the hairdryer method. when you use the floss/fishing line, make sure you are pulling at about a 45 degree angle as to avoid the finish as much as possible. But remember this, your new spoiler will be sitting right on top of where your old one was, so you wont' see the paint that much. But if you are like me, you are your own biggest critic, so you want things to be perfect, if that is the case take it to the pros
