hey guys, ive come across a 95 blue M3 that someone is interested in trading me for my civic plus cash and it looks great. The only thing is that its an automatic. Do you think it is a better idea to find a 5 speed version or is an auto to manual swap not too hard. thanks for the help, Matt

expect to pay 2000-2500 including labor for the swap
if you are very mechanically inclined, then 2000 for the whole kit from zionsvilleautosport.com
go to bimmerforums.com and do a search, lots over there
ok all work would be done by me, i just cant see the logic in paying people to work on my cars, thanks for the tip though, i appreciate it

How about you just find an M3 that has a Manual and you sell yours? $2500 is quite a bit of $ and is approaching 20% of the value of your car. Is it worth it to spend that kind of money when you will not get any of it back? Maybe you could sell the auto tranny for $500 and get some of it back, but other than that you are still out $2000. Maybe you could sell your car, and buy a manual M3 with the money you made, then drop $2500 in go-fast mods on it?
