17" x 8.5", 38mm offset, 235/40 Tire, lower susp?

Will this wheel with a 235/40 tire (michelin) fit on our cars with lowered suspension (it does fit with stock susp).

Many people run 18x8.5 with 245/35 with a drop so that should be fine. eace:

run 245s if you can... 235s are what i run, and i wish i had 8.5s so i could run 245s.
